2nd SAM Online workshop for validation of skills needs in AM
The 2nd SAM Workshop gathered over 50 representatives from the Additive Manufacturing industry and research organisations towards the validation of skills needs priorities for the Sector, during the online event on the 27th January.
As the labour market demands for highly qualified personnel to apply AM technology is increasing, the identification and development of the required set of skills for AM professionals has become critical. In this context, SAM workshop addressed the following objectives:
The project partners EWF and LAK were responsible for welcoming participants and for conducting the plenary session where The European Sector Skills Strategy for AM, SAM latest results regarding skills needs and gaps in AM and the 1st International AM Qualification System & the role of the AM Councils were presented.
